Nvidia DLSS 5 Debuts with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering

Nvidia is set to release DLSS 5 on September 3, introducing 3D-Guided Neural Rendering technology, which will debut in the game NBA 2K27 on RTX 50 series GPUs.

The new version promises significant performance gains, with early technical previews showing up to 5x faster rendering speeds compared to previous iterations.

While the technology imposes a 50% performance penalty on average, the RTX 50 series hardware is expected to deliver hundreds of frames per second with the feature enabled.
