Nine dead including suspect in Erie domestic dispute shooting

A 45-year-old man shot and killed eight people at a home in Erie, Pennsylvania, before taking his own life on October 10, 2026.

Erie Police Chief Rick Lorah stated that the suspect was related to seven victims, while the eighth was a friend of a killed pregnant woman.

Officers responded within minutes using a ShotSpotter alert and deployed a drone and robot before discovering the bodies inside.
