Delhi Announces Vehicle Curbs and Construction Bans for Winter Pollution

Delhi announced a winter action plan restricting out-of-station vehicles below BS-VI standards and mandating 50% work-from-home for offices from November 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027.

The 'No PUCC, No Fuel' campaign will cover 500 fuel stations, supported by a detection system that flagged over 7,055 older end-of-life vehicles over the previous 12 months.

The plan includes a complete construction and demolition ban from December 10, 2026, to January 20, 2027, alongside weekly hotspot inspections and industrial enforcement.
