BJP mandal president Kamal Chauhan was booked under the POCSO Act and molestation charges in Indore on Saturday after allegedly pushing a 15-year-old girl at a Garba venue.
The incident occurred at Kankeshwari Ground when the minor attempted to give her performing sister an entry pass, leading to an aggressive argument and push by Chauhan.
The party served a show-cause notice demanding a reply within three days, while police recorded the victim's statement and registered an FIR.
