Politician Ramsharan Nautiyal rejoined the Indian National Congress on Monday in New Delhi after spending 12 years with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
His return comes days after quitting the BJP and ahead of the Uttarakhand assembly elections scheduled for early next year.
Ramsharan previously served as Dehradun Zila Panchayat Chairman and contested the 2022 assembly elections from Chakrata as a BJP candidate.
