The Central Board of Film Certification issued fresh guidelines stating that pre-announced release dates cannot be used to accelerate the certification process or override statutory timelines.
The advisory requires all submitted films to be in complete and final form, including graphics, background scores, and sound mixes, warning that incomplete submissions risk rejection or delays.
The board also cautioned filmmakers that submitted titles are not final and applicants must remain prepared for potential title changes.
