Approximately 76% Voter Turnout Recorded In Nagaon Lok Sabha Bypoll

About 76 percent of approximately 19.05 lakh electors cast their votes during the Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency bypoll in central Assam on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Election officials stated that final voting percentages are expected to increase as voters who entered polling stations prior to 5 pm were allowed to vote.

Fifteen candidates contested the seat vacated after Pradyut Bordoloi shifted to the Assembly, with vote counting scheduled for October 9.
