NCTE Forms Panel to Include ITEP Graduates in TET Eligibility Criteria

The NCTE is forming a committee to include four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) graduates in TET eligibility.

Currently, ITEP is recognized but not explicitly listed as an eligibility pathway for CTET and STET.

The committee will review guidelines and recommend amendments before the first ITEP batch graduates in 2027-28.
