The Union Cabinet is scheduled to take up a Ministry of Finance proposal to set up a ₹10,000 crore SME Growth Fund on Tuesday.

Originally announced in Union Budget 2026, the fund is designed for direct equity investments in small and medium enterprises to help create future champions.

The Cabinet will also review a proposal from the Commerce Ministry to establish the Integrated Transport and Logistics Authority under the Companies Act 2013.
