Dallas ISD High School Launches Barbering Program

Skyline High School in Dallas ISD has introduced a professional barbering program, the only one of its kind in Texas, led by instructor Manzelle Robertson.

Students must complete 1,000 hours of theory and training, with seniors splitting their time between school and working at a professional barbershop.

The program includes weekly Community Cuts on Wednesday nights, where students provide haircuts to peers to gain practical experience and help fund their future educational goals.
