Four individuals were arrested in Bengaluru on September 5, 2026, following the abduction and assault of a woman over an outstanding loan of ₹1.5 lakh.
The victim alleged that the suspects stripped, beat, and filmed her as part of a coercive tactic to force repayment of the debt.
The Bengaluru police have registered a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, with the investigation currently focusing on the recovery of the digital evidence.
