The Delhi Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested former minister Satyendar Jain on Tuesday regarding alleged irregularities in the Delhi Jal Board's sewage treatment plant tendering process.
The FIR, registered in May 2024, also names former DJB CEO Udit Prakash Rai, former consultant Ankit Srivastava, and three private individuals as co-accused in the case.
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal condemned the arrest as politically motivated by the BJP, vowing that the charges will be proven fake like previous legal cases against Jain.
