Shares of Balrampur Chini Mills surged 9% on Tuesday to close at ₹655, marking the stock's biggest single-day gain since mid-August.
The rally was supported by a sharp spike in trading volumes with 7.7 million shares changing hands, alongside a broader market rebound and peer Triveni Engineering's strong Q2 results.
Triveni Engineering reported a fourfold jump in consolidated net profit to ₹93.65 crore for the September quarter, driven by higher sugar realisations and favorable alcohol product mixes.
