Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal held discussions with US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Milwaukee regarding an early conclusion of the India-US trade deal.
India is awaiting a preferential tariff framework from the US after the Supreme Court invalidated the legal basis for the previously offered mechanism.
Goyal also addressed food security at the G20 trade ministers' meeting, stating India provides free foodgrains to over 800 million citizens.
