Russian Strikes Near Kyiv Kill Three Including One Child

Russian ballistic missile strikes on Saturday killed three people, including one child, and wounded three others in the Boryspil district outside Kyiv.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine received only one-third of the air-defence missiles in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.

The U.S. Senate passed a bill on Friday with an 86-11 vote to impose 100 percent tariffs on countries purchasing Russian energy, pending approval by the House and President Trump.
