Darius Khambata Says N. Chandrasekaran's Reappointment Sullied Tata Sons

Outgoing Tata Trusts board member Darius Khambata stated that the decision to grant N. Chandrasekaran a third term as Tata Sons chairman has sullied the company's reputation.

Khambata expressed his dissent in a letter to Tata Trusts chairman Noel Tata while declining to accept another term in office.

Former Supreme Court judges Justice B.N. Srikrishna and Justice Uday U. Lalit opined that the casting vote exercised by the chairman was valid under the company's articles of association.
