Telangana's Sangareddy Police arrested three members of an inter-State robbery gang from Maharashtra and cracked three highway robbery cases in the district along with one in Humnabad, Karnataka.
The accused—identified as Hasan Sameer Shaik, Santosh Segar Dhagudu, and Naushad Jakir Sayyad—were intercepted during vehicle checks at Madgi crossroads while travelling on a blue Yamaha motorcycle without a registration plate.
Operating during night hours on national highways, the gang targeted cars parked in isolated stretches, threatening occupants with a fake air pistol and knives to rob gold ornaments and cash.
