Ukrainian Evacuees Reunite After Years Trapped in Oleshky

Evacuees from the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky crossed from Belarus into Ukraine's Chernihiv region to reunite with their families after years of being trapped.

The evacuations were enabled by a local humanitarian ceasefire brokered through efforts involving US First Lady Melania Trump.

The oldest evacuee was 94 years old while the youngest was one, with several requiring stretchers and ambulances due to dire conditions without power or food.
