Jharkhand HC Stays Cancellation of 11th-13th JPSC Exam Appointments

The Jharkhand High Court on August 20, 2026, stayed the state government's order to cancel recruitment results for the 11th to 13th JPSC examinations and food safety officer positions.

Justice Deepak Roshan issued the stay after noting that the government had not initiated FIRs or departmental actions, and ordered the state to submit a formal reply by September 15.

Opposition leader Babulal Marandi alleged the initial cancellation was a political conspiracy by the Hemant Soren government to quell student protests, claiming the move lacked proper legal procedure.
