WhatsApp Chat Lock allows users to secure specific conversations with biometrics

WhatsApp's Chat Lock feature enables users to lock individual and group conversations in a separate folder authenticated via fingerprint, face recognition, or passcode.

Enabling the feature hides sender names and message previews from notifications to maintain user privacy when devices are shared.

Users can also hide the locked chats folder from the main chat list by setting up a secret code in the app settings.
