Phase 3 trials involving over 20,000 children showed 80.2% efficacy against virologically confirmed dengue and 90.4% efficacy against hospitalised dengue during the primary analysis period.
India recorded 233,519 dengue cases and 297 deaths in 2024, following 289,235 cases and 485 deaths in 2023, highlighting the need for integrated prevention strategies.
