Reliance Group overtook the Tata Group on Wednesday to become India's biggest conglomerate by market valuation, with a combined valuation of ₹30 lakh crore.
Reliance Industries closed with a market valuation of ₹15.67 lakh crore, while the combined market valuation of Tata Group firms stood at ₹25.28 lakh crore.
The milestone was driven by Jio Platforms' blockbuster market debut, which opened over 21% higher on the BSE and NSE and pushed its own valuation to ₹13 lakh crore.
