Rising Dengue Cases Among Children in Chengalpattu

Multiple children have been hospitalised with dengue fever in Chengalpattu district, prompting public concern and calls for immediate administrative action.

Tamil Nadu recorded 20,866 dengue cases and 12 deaths between January and November last year, according to state health department data.

Health officials have intensified surveillance and mosquito control measures across the state but clarified there are currently no plans to introduce the Qdenga vaccine.
