Security agencies arrested over 200 operatives linked to the Pakistan-based Shahzad Bhatti network, which is accused of orchestrating terror activities and espionage across 14 Indian states.
The NIA has registered three cases against Bhatti, who allegedly recruited youth via social media to plant explosives and install cameras near critical installations for relaying footage to Pakistan.
The crackdown follows investigations into multiple attacks, including a November 2025 explosion in Sirsa and a January 2026 car-bomb blast in Ambala, with 69 accused arrested by Delhi Police.
