A Pakistan Navy corvette, PNS Hunain, collided with a frontline Indian warship in the north Arabian Sea on September 15 after manoeuvring in an unprofessional and unsafe manner.
New Delhi summoned Pakistan's charge d'affaires Saad Warraich on Wednesday to lodge a strong protest over the incident, which occurred in international waters and did not cause major damage.
The external affairs ministry stated the Pakistani vessel's conduct contravened Article 10 of the 1991 bilateral agreement on advance notice for military exercises and manoeuvres.
