Ukraine supports US proposal for trilateral talks with Russia by early November

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated on Wednesday that Ukraine supports a US proposal for three-way negotiator talks with Russia and the United States, preferably by early November.

Zelenskiy spoke to journalists on WhatsApp while returning from Norway after US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff held discussions in St Petersburg with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Ukrainian leader said Kyiv supports any proposals for a ceasefire, an end to the war, an energy ceasefire, and humanitarian initiatives.
