Turkey Deports Drug Kingpin Navpreet Singh to India

International drug trafficking kingpin Navpreet Singh was deported to India from Turkey after operating under the fake identity of Nawab Virk.

Singh had secured Turkish citizenship while smuggling heroin and other narcotics from Afghanistan into India before being tracked down by security agencies.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah hailed the deportation as a historic milestone, following recent extraditions from Turkey, the UAE, and Malaysia.
