Elon Musk accused Indian oligarchs of stymying SpaceX's satellite broadband service launch to maintain a monopolistic chokehold.

The accusation followed SpaceX executive Lauren Dreyer's statement at the India Mobile Congress hoping the service would be operational by next year.

Starlink holds GMPCS authorization from the DoT but awaits security approvals and regulatory clearances regarding spectrum assignment.
