Six Arab national football associations, including Qatar and Morocco, have publicly reaffirmed their support for FIFA President Gianni Infantino amid his ongoing re-election campaign.
Infantino faces opposition from UEFA, AFC, and CONCACAF, which represent 136 of the 211 member associations, following his aborted $4.2 billion private investment plan.
The joint statement from the six federations, including Egypt and Sudan, praised Infantino's commitment to global football development despite the current leadership crisis.
