A State Bank of India research report ranked China's Gaokao as the world's largest examination with 12.9 million candidates, followed by India's NEET UG at fifth position with 2.5 million applications.
China's Gaokao administration involved 7,981 exam centres across provincial networks, utilizing guarded secure rooms, armored transport vehicles, and multi-departmental emergency support.
The SBI report suggested that India can enhance national examination security by improving question paper custody accountability, establishing clear re-test protocols, and implementing automated scoring audits.
