India officially condemned the destruction of a historic Hindu temple in Siraj village, Narowal, Pakistan, demanding a transparent investigation and accountability for those responsible for the act.
The temple, estimated to be over 125 years old, was razed on August 21, with the Pakistan Masiha Millat Party alleging deliberate demolition to facilitate seminary expansion.
While the Evacuee Trust Property Board claimed the structure collapsed due to heavy rainfall, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs urged Pakistan to restore the site and protect minority heritage.
