Ambush on Pakistan Police Post Kills 11 Officers

At least 11 police officers were killed and 28 injured during an ambush on a checkpoint in Pakistan's Hangu district near the Afghan border late Wednesday.

Attackers utilized explosive-laden quadcopters to target the post before engaging in an hours-long gun battle that resulted in the deaths of 15 militants.

The violence follows a recent suicide bombing in the nearby Tank district, further straining security along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border where relations have reached an all-time low.
