Suriya's Scene opens strong with over Rs 17 crore on day one

Actor Suriya's third film of the year, Scene, registered a strong box office opening with over ₹17 crore earned across 5,897 shows by Friday evening.

Directed by Jithu Madhavan and produced by 2D Entertainment, the film follows Suriya's earlier 2026 releases Karuppu and Vishwanath and Sons.

The film opened to positive reviews praising Suriya's relaxed performance and Jithu Madhavan's writing.
