Ludhiana Government School Head Teacher Dies After Collapsing

Harjit Singh Grewal, a 49-year-old government school head teacher in Haibowal Khurd, died on Wednesday after collapsing in a pre-primary classroom during school hours.

The teacher, who had a history of high blood pressure, complained of chest pain before collapsing and was declared dead upon arrival at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital.

Block Primary Education Officer Ramanjeet Singh Sandhu confirmed that Grewal had been performing his duties, including recent work as a booth-level officer and drug-census-related tasks, before the incident.
