Three contractors were arrested following the collapse of a ground-plus-three-floor building in Old Delhi's Chawri Bazar on Thursday that left two workers dead.
According to the FIR, complainant Firoz alleged that contractors insisted construction continue despite workers warning that the structure was weak and the lintel had not dried.
The rescue operation was hampered by extremely narrow lanes in the walled city that prevented heavy machinery from reaching the disaster site.
