An oxygen cylinder exploded inside a parked ambulance at a medical facility in southern Pakistan's Sindh province, killing at least 10 people overnight.
District Police Chief Arif Aziz stated that the victims included facility staff, patients, and their relatives, while patients were being transferred to another hospital.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari expressed sorrow over the deaths and called for a prompt, transparent investigation to determine the cause of the blast.
