Indian Army boxer Jadumani Singh defeated Pakistan's Sumama Rehman 5-0 in a Commonwealth Games bout on Sunday, dedicating the victory to Kargil War heroes.
The match, held at the SEC Centre in Glasgow, saw Singh secure a standing count against his opponent in the second round before winning by a unanimous judges' decision.
Singh is now one victory away from securing a medal, while fellow Indian boxer Preeti Pawar also advanced to the quarterfinals after an RSC win against Malawi's Deborah Mtenje.
