The Central Crime Branch arrested three persons, including key suspect 'Lion' Muthuvel, for allegedly duping people of over ₹100 crore through a loan fraud scheme.
The accused lured a businessman by promising to secure a business loan for industrial development in exchange for an advance service fee of ₹2 crore.
Police stated the gang operated across multiple police stations, including in Dharmapuri and Kerala, and the suspects were remanded to judicial custody.
