Manchester United Pursues £60 Million Deal for Carlos Baleba

Manchester United has submitted an opening offer of £60 million plus £5 million in potential add-ons to Brighton & Hove Albion for 22-year-old midfielder Carlos Baleba.

Baleba, who joined Brighton from Lille in 2023, made 35 appearances last season and is currently the subject of active, positive negotiations between the two clubs.

United manager Michael Carrick is seeking to strengthen his midfield following injuries to Manuel Ugarte and Mason Mount, with the club aiming to finalize the transfer before competitive fixtures begin.
