Sidharth Malhotra's 'Vvaan' Opens to Rs 9.6 Crore Gross Amid Mixed Reviews

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's supernatural fantasy film 'Vvaan: Force of the Forrest' opened in theatres on Friday with a gross collection of Rs 9.6 crore in India.

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film earned Rs 8 crore net across 6,746 shows with a 26% occupancy rate, receiving mediocre reviews.

The film marks a major box-office test for Malhotra, who has been awaiting a theatrical hit since his 2016 film Kapoor & Sons.
