Dermatologist Dr Ajay Rana highlighted that summer breakouts are often worsened by everyday habits rather than weather alone, cautioning against behaviors that clog pores and cause inflammation.
Habits identified include touching the face frequently with unwashed hands, failing to shower immediately after sweating, using excessive skincare products, and skipping moisturizer for oily skin.
Additional factors include not washing pillowcases and towels regularly, sleeping without cleansing the skin, and remaining in wet, sweaty workout clothes for extended periods.
