Shia Leader Maulana Yasoob Abbas Meets President Pezeshkian for Stronger Ties

General Secretary of the All-India Shia Personal Law Board Maulana Yasoob Abbas met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in New Delhi on Friday.

Mr. Abbas conveyed a letter advocating for expanded bilateral cooperation in education, trade, culture, science, technology, connectivity, and energy.

The cleric expressed concern over ongoing West Asian tensions, condemned attacks on Iran, and requested protection for Indian maritime interests.
