The Delhi government proposed establishing first-aid facilities in all 1,086 government schools at an estimated annual cost of ₹48.87 crore.
Education Minister Ashish Sood stated that each school facility will feature a trained health worker to provide basic medical support for students.
The rooms will offer first aid, rest spaces, and menstrual health support for female students without providing diagnostic services.
