CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke demanded on Tuesday that it be made compulsory for education department officials to send their children to government schools to ensure accountability.
Dipke, who launched the 'School Thik Karo' campaign, criticised the Maharashtra government for failing to provide transport for rural students who walk up to 10 kilometres to school.
The protest followed the suspension of a Zilla Parishad school headmaster in Hingoli district who was allegedly caught drinking and sleeping in class after years of complaints.
