Six Dead in Satya Niketan Building Collapse

Six people have died and 11 others were rescued following the collapse of a five-storey building in South West Delhi’s Satya Niketan on September 6, 2026.

The building, which housed a boys' paying guest accommodation named Hostel Daze, was at least 50 years old and collapsed around 1.30 p.m. while repair work was underway.

Delhi Police have registered an FIR under Sections 105, 290, and 125 (a) of the BNS against building owner Hariram Bansal and others as rescue operations continue.
