Fighting has intensified across Yemen as Houthi rebels launch major offensives in Hodeidah and Taiz, while the Saudi-led coalition reports 94 total airstrikes conducted against Houthi-controlled territories over Wednesday and Thursday.
Government-run Saba news reported that Houthi shelling in Marib killed three children on Wednesday, while the Houthis claimed a separate Saudi strike on an al-Jawf prison resulted in at least 32 deaths.
Pakistan warned that continued Houthi attacks on Saudi infrastructure could activate the recently signed Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, a security pact involving Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Pakistan to bolster collective regional deterrence.
