Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud became the first fast bowler from his country to claim a Test hat-trick during a match against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.
Mahmud claimed a triple-wicket maiden by dismissing Ismat Alam, catching Qais Ahmad off an edge, and trapping Zia-ur-Rehman lbw via DRS review.
The achievement makes Mahmud only the third Bangladeshi bowler overall to take a Test hat-trick, following spinners Alok Kapali and Sohag Gazi.
