Apple Launches Device Leasing Program in the United States

Apple launched 'Apple Upgrade' on July 28, a new Klarna-backed leasing program for iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches across the United States.

Lease terms range from 12 to 36 months with monthly payments starting at $17.99 for iPhones, replacing the previous Citizens One-financed iPhone Upgrade Program.

Eligible devices include the iPhone 17 series and M5 MacBook models, though customers do not own the hardware unless they pay a purchase fee at the end of the term.
