The Road Ministry has proposed mandating Advanced Emergency Braking Systems (AEBS) for all new car models starting October 2030.
For vehicles already in production before 2030, AEBS will become mandatory from October 2032.
This initiative aims to curb road accidents by providing automatic braking in critical situations.
