AM Green bags long-term green ammonia contract from JERA

AM Green Ammonia has signed a binding agreement with Japan's JERA to supply approximately 70,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually over five years.

The green ammonia will be produced at AM Green's facility in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, which is planned for commissioning by 2028-29.

The supply will support maritime decarbonisation and is intended for a joint venture utilizing ammonia-fueled car carriers.
